My Christian faith informs how I understand the dignity and worth of each person and shapes the way I approach care. When desired, faith and spirituality can be thoughtfully integrated into therapy alongside evidence-based approaches, creating space for healing, growth, and meaningful change. I am Sharilee “Shari” Benjamin, LCSW, LICSW, providing in-person therapy in West Georgia and online therapy throughout Georgia, Alabama, and Virginia. I work with children, adolescents, adults, veterans, caregivers, and adoptive families experiencing trauma, attachment concerns, anxiety, grief, burnout, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. My approach integrates EMDR, CBT, ACT, DBT, somatic strategies, and expressive modalities, tailored to each person's needs, experiences, goals, and readiness. Whether you are healing from trauma, supporting a child, adjusting after military service, caring for others, or navigating adoption and family change, therapy can offer a place to better understand what you are carrying, develop new ways of responding, and move forward with greater clarity and connection. In-person therapy is available in West Georgia. Online therapy is available throughout Georgia, Alabama, and Virginia.
